MY USA TRIP This is me on the right and my friend Joan who went with me to the States to share in my American dream to meet my internet friends and see America We departed from Gatwick Airport in London, and arrived at Atlanta Airport to change planes for Cincinnati It was there that we met Don and his sister I have been chatting to him for 2 and a half years on the internet When we met, it was like we were old friends! Monica and Don ***** They drove us into Ohio State, we had a meal on the way then proceeded to our B&B in "Spring Valley" Ohio where Don lives. There started our adventure! We had lots planned to do, like three Festivals and to meet some of the ladies of my Internet Group "Women with a Unique Soul" After resting up to get over our jet lag we were off to meet the ladies on the following Saturday Arriving at Kitkat's house Nr Dayton Airport We were met by Peaches, Kit, Rita, and Dianna! and their hubby's. What a welcome they gave us!!! We were presented with souvenirs of all the States they came from like West Virginia,Oklahoma, Ohio, and Mitchigan. cooked us a true American meal Then they took us for the "Walmart Experience" lol Photo's below! Me pointing to the Walmart sign lol with the WWAUS group. The "Spring Valley " Potato Festival. We went to two more festivals One in Waynesville and the other in Yellow Springs. Kitkat and Peaches took us to the Dayton Art Gallery then onto the "Crackerbarrel" for a meal. Joan Kit and me at the Gallery At the Airforce Museum covered with silly string by Peaches WWAUS !!! We stayed at "Barrett House "Spring Valley" Ohio in the most beautiful countryside Loranne the lady who owns it made us most welcome a lovely lady, who could not do enough for us This is her wonderful home below! On our last night in the US, Loranne wanted us to experience a "Weenie Roast" Which is roasting hot dogs and marshmallows outside on a bonfire We loved it! We found Ohio a beautiful State,Spring Valley so relaxing and peaceful. Also Don took us to Mass at "St Bridgets" Church "Xenia" Nr Spring Valley Beautiful Church.
